Marci Zoltai (4) and Petra Zoltai (2), of Leanyfalu, Hungary, were killed by Ciaran Tobin 8 years ago, on April 9, 2000.
He confessed to the crime. He was convicted and sentenced in a Court of Law. But he's never spent one minute in jail, thanks to his thick wallet, star-studded defense lawyers, and with a little help from the Public Prosecutor and the Judge.
We make no bones about it: we agree with Dr. Tóth, the Zoltai family's lawyer when he says "what is at stake here is the credibility of the Hungarian judicial system".
It is the purpose of this site to draw attention to a case that is causing a crisis gripping Hungary, Ireland and the judicial system of the European Union.
May Marci and Petra rest in peace.
